Snow...snow...snow...frackin' SNOW!

This must be how the Donner family felt just a few hours into it. The snow was lightly falling—steady, but lightly—and you think it's going to let up and that help will soon be on its way. And help is coming, just as fast as traffic will allow. It snowed today.

It snowed alot.

And here I sit, stuck at my office. I'm the only one in the building and I'm at the mercy of mother nature. She must have had a bad morning or something, because she has seriously let loose upon us here in the Midwest.

And I'm hungry. Don't worry. This won't be a long post. I'm a few minutes from hitting that state of delirium where the most mundane things, like the word "moot" suddenly become more than amusing. Or like how frozen water can cause so much chaos when dispersed in flake form. That's a unfortunate word isn't it? Sounds like it at this moment. But then that's probably my brain losing focus.

A person can only be at his desk at his office for so long before going more than stir crazy. And getting heart burn. Ouch.

Ooh.. phone....

[Insert passage of time]

SWEET! My ride is gonna be here any minute. I am finally free! I would cartwheel out of here, but I'd probably break something. Of mine. So I shall bid thee adieu gentle reader. Take care if you're in the Midwest. Be safe in the flakes and try not to go stir crazy if you're stranded.

And for God's sake, order a pizza before resorting to cannibalism. I know I will.

  1. Yes. I hear that cannibalism is frowned upon in civilized society. Probably a good thing you can go without eating for 8 hours or so before you start picturing me or Zubov as a steak.

  3. So...you put all the DBs in a room...cover the room in snow...weeks and weeks of snow...my question is, who goes first? I mean, it's obviously not me, I put way too many icky, poison-like things into my body, such as nicotine and tar. No one in their right mind would consider me a healthful meal. But there are others...
